Private Shore Excursions - Tien Sa Port (08/11/2016)
Tien Sa is the port of Da Nang and is ideally placed for shore excursions into Da Nang and Hoi An. The ancient Champa ruins of My Son Sanctuary are also a popular destination from Tien Sa.
Da Nang has had port facilities for many centuries but the port as seen today was established in 1976 and has operated as a limited company under the ownership of the Viet Nam National Shipping Lines (Vinalines) since 2008. Tien Sa is embarking on the second of three planned upgrades valued at some $47m and is now the 3rd largest port in Vietnam.
October 2016 saw an overall 23% increase in international visitors to Vietnam over the same period last year. This is mirrored in the increasing number of cruise ships scheduled to dock in Tien Sa port.
We look forward to welcoming over 50 cruise ships to Tien Sa Port in 2017, and of course their passengers to our amazing country. We welcome singles, couples and small groups of family & friends on Xuan Tu's Private Shore Excursions. With prior co-ordination we can accommodate larger groups formed on 'CruiseCritic Roll Call' forums (to a maximum of 20 persons)
