The Dragon bridge in Da Nang has become a symbol of a flourishing city, it was built in 2009 and it is 3,200 meters long. It is designed to bring luck to locals and visitors to Da Nang, who cross it while visiting the city. The bridge looks like a dragon with its big head, long body and sharp claws. One of the main attractions is the Lady Buddha statue. The statue was built by a local businessman in 2000 and stands at over 100 feet tall. It overlooks the ocean and can be accessed via a winding road that runs past many tiny villages and farms.
